How do you meet with clients?

I primarily meet with clients virtually.  This allows for flexible meeting times and efficiency both for the client and the advisor.

Do I need a minimum amount of assets to work with you?

Accepted Answer

No. Unlike many firms, we do not require a minimum asset level. Hourly financial planning is accessible whether you’re just getting started or already established.

Do you manage investments as part of this service?

Accepted Answer

I do not.  I offer hourly based planning where we work on a specific need and you are charged for the time needed on my side to address the questions.  I also offer flat-fee one-time financial plans where we comprehensively review your financial scenario.  I provide a written financial plan with specific recommendations.  While I review your investments and also provide specific recommendations, you retain control of your investments and implement those recommendations at your discretion.

How often do you meet with clients?

It depends on the complexity and nature of the engagement.  For specific questions and requests we may just need to meet once or twice.  For clients looking to retire and needing a comprehensive plan, we may meet 6 or more times within a one year time span.

Are you a fiduciary?

Yes, I am a fiduciary to my clients 100% of the time.

Do you consider taxes in all this?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  We do not file your income tax return.  We leave that to your CPA.  Taxes are considered in our financial planning.  Examples might be the tax impact of the sale of an investment or where to best locate your different investments by account type to minimize taxes.
